We Are a People of Words

Abstract

They acquire fast knowledge


searching Google as college,


and shallow stories they read


as if fully guaranteed.


Books are physical and real


but online we might reveal


some random information


to give an explanation.


If the goal to educate


and clearly communicate


is for comprehension,


why does format cause such tension?


Changing can be right and good


even when misunderstood;


it allows for creations


of new communications.


We are a people of words,


therefore free from any cords


that may bind us unchecked


to solid objects, correct? . . .
