Abstract

This issue marks the inauguration of a closer relationship between RBM and the annual RBMS Preconference. Although it has always been the intention of the editor to draw upon the preconference for possible articles, no arrangement has existed up until this point. With this issue, the chair of the Preconference Program Committee has assumed the responsibilities of guest editor for the spring issue, an arrangement that I hope will continue well into the future.
